Geranium

Geranium is a 3-star Michelin restaurant situated on the 8th floor in Fælledparken (Common Gardens) in the centre of Copenhagen. In 2021, Geranium was awarded the World’s second-best restaurant and the all-Geranium-team took the Silver for Denmark at Bocuse d’Or.

Project overview

In close collaboration with Geranium and the architect, we created a space emphasizing Geranium’s vision of gastronomic clarity and diversity – exploring the area of tension between the urbane and the natural.

At Malte Gormsen, we were the main contractor of the whole project delivering a turn-key restaurant, including custom made furniture such as the dining table sofa.

Scope of work

Waiter station cabinets, special designed dinner table sofa, wine glass cabinets, woodwork, reception area including checkout counter, wine bar, Bocuse d’Or gold statue display cabinet, marble table, fireplace, shelves in the wine cellar, bathrooms, kitchen, ceiling.
