Built-in Wardrobe Solution in Copenhagen

A project for an apartment in Copenhagen, where the desire was for a custom-made built-in wardrobe solution that in appearance, choice of materials, and quality fits the apartment.

Everything about the wardrobe’s appearance, materials, and functionality is developed together with the client. The wardrobe is made down to the smallest details with a focus on good joinery craftsmanship, precisely to create a solution that stylistically fits the property and at the same time provides modern functionality.

For example, handles from our self-developed collection and hinges are custom-made in brass. Mirrors are integrated on the back of cabinet doors, and drawers run in classic drawer tracks – wood against wood – without fittings. The corner cabinet has curved cabinet doors, curved back panels, and shelves.

Integrated lighting is included in cabinets and drawers. The lighting is also executed in a curved design, so the light sources are hidden. On the back of shelves, there is corresponding built-in lighting that illuminates the back panel in the cabinet.

The material choice is smoked oak, surfaces are oiled, and hinges are in polished brass. Particularly special for the cabinet solution are the doors in full height – in the high-ceilinged apartment.
