Shelving System for Home Office

Handcrafted shelving system made for a private residence in Copenhagen. Designed by Space Copenhagen, this hand-painted shelf with brass details for the home office is made to maximise wall space, even above the door.

There is a fine balance between aesthetics and functionality, allowing storage of books, photographs, and art objects, while folders and documents are kept hidden behind the doors. The brass handles along with the custom-made brass hinges designed by Malte Gormsen, add a fine detail.

The office also includes our MG209 Plank Table, which functions as a desk with hidden cables between the planks. The table has received a surface treatment in a unique grey shade, chosen by the customer, and harmonises with the home’s overall tones.
