When placing your order on maltegormsenkollektion.com, our system will automatically forward an order confirmation to your email. Once you have received the order confirmation, a binding agreement has been made. When we ship the item from our workshop, you will receive an email from us, with further information on the expected time and date of delivery.


Malte Gormsen ApS accepts the following means of payment



The amount will be withdrawn from your account immediately after ordering and the expected delivery time will be shown on the product page. If your order only contains items that are in stock at maltegormsen.dk, the amount will first be withdrawn from your account upon dispatch of the items.

If your country is part of the European Union (EU), the prices include 25% Danish VAT. We may add delivery costs to your order. Please view Delivery below for delivery charges. Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are charged once your package reaches your country. We do not collect VAT, custom fees, duties and/or taxes on orders to countries outside of the EU. It is your responsibility to investigate such additional charges and they must be paid for in order for your package to clear customs. We advise you to get in contact with your local customs office for more information.


Through maltegormsenkollektion.com shop we currently only offer delivery to addresses in Denmark. If you are not based Denmark, we offer worldwide delivery on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly via email or phone for a cost estimate.

Our standard delivery time is 8-10 weeks upon receiving your order for custom-build furniture items. However, delivery time for smaller items and objects may be shorter. You will find the expected delivery time of the product items, on maltegormsenkollektion.com.

We offer the following types of delivery: Delivery of smaller items to private addresses or to parcel shop. For larger items, a special furniture delivery service is being used to deliver to private addresses, these orders are delivered to curbside. Additional delivery services can be arranged at an additional cost via our customer care (info@maltegormsenkollektion.com).

The shipping cost is calculated at checkout. We offer free delivery* to Danish addresses for purchases exceeding DKK 20.000

*Malte Gormsen ApS reserves the right to fully refund and cancel shipping orders.


The majority of our product items are made-to-order and custom-build exclusively for you. This means that all orders are final, and we cannot accept withdrawals.

For items that are in stock, you have 14 days right of withdrawal when shopping with us. If you have purchased several items, you have the right to withdraw part of that delivery.

It is stated on our maltegormsenkollektion.dk whether the furniture or product is eligible to withdraw.

In case of withdrawal, the period expires after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.

If the withdrawal period expires on a public holiday, a Saturday, on Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year’s Day, the deadline is extended to the following working day.

What to do, if I want to withdraw my purchase?

Please note that this only applies to smaller items and product groups that we keep in stock – not made-to order and custom-build items.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract either by emailing info@maltegormsenkollektion.com.

When notifying us, please make it clear, that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal and specify whether you wish to return all or part of your purchase.

Return of the item and payment of return costs

When you have notified us of your wish to withdraw your purchase and having received confirmation from our end, please send or deliver the item to Malte Gormsen ApS, Hørkær 34, 2730 Herlev, Denmark

The item must be returned, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us of your wish to return the item.

You must pay the return costs yourself.

Refund of the purchase price in case of withdrawal

If you regret your entire purchase, we reimburse the full purchase price excluding delivery charges, if any. We do not reimburse freight/delivery charges.

We reimburse the purchase price when have received the item and controlled its condition. The reimbursement is made by the same mean of payment that you used for the original transaction.

Packaging and condition of the item upon return

When you return an item to us, you must return it in the original packaging. You are entitled to open to check or test the item, but if the packaging is missing or damaged, it is considered an impairment, which may result in us deducting an amount from the purchase price, corresponding to the impairment, when reimbursing. As far as the item is concerned, you are only liable for a reduction of the value, if you have used the item in a way that goes beyond what is necessary in order to check the functionalities, characteristics and properties of the product. It is your own responsibility to ensure that the item is securely wrapped when sending it back. The item is at your risk until received by us.

We have done our best to display our product items at maltegormsenkollektion.com as they appear in real life, however we cannot guarantee that your display will be calibrated correctly. If you are uncertain of the actual colour or surface treatment, we invite you to visit our showroom or workshop, alternately please contact us and we may be able to send a sample.


We cannot guarantee that information and the content on out site is free from inaccuracies or typographical errors or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, availability, etc.. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up to date. Even though we strive to display the correct information, errors may occur.


According to the Danish Sale of Goods Act, you have the right to within two years, from the time where you received the items, to complain if the item has a defect.

How do I complain?

If you want to complain, please send an email to our customer service (info@maltegormsenkollektion.com) within a reasonable time. We recommend, that you complain to us as soon as possible, after you have discovered the defect.

All made-to-order and custom-build furniture items cannot be returned by regular mail, instead a specialist furniture shipping company should be used.
