Balthazar is the prestigious Hotel d’Angleterre’s Champagne bar, located in the heart of Copenhagen.

The project spanned over two floors of Denmark’s first Champagne including the bar / restaurant area and a resting area.
At Malte Gormsen, we took over an empty space with bare concrete walls and based on the architect’s concept drawings we created the final space.
The assignment also included sourcing and custom making the gold mirrors with antique look and feel.
Wood work, staircase railing, cocktail bar, Champagne display cabinet, marble bathrooms, ceiling, wall design features, burnished brass, brass awnings (fasade), custom made antique looking mirrors with gold details, marble Champagne bowl.
