Restaurant Bavn – at the top of Lighthouse

In December, Mia Christiansen and Stefanie Ezra Petersen opened Restaurant Bavn and Brasserie Bavn in Lighthouse at the harbour in Aarhus.

Lighthouse, designed by 3XN Architects, opened its doors to a brasserie on the 1st floor and a restaurant at a height of 142 meters on the 45th floor. Both include furniture and bespoke interiors by Malte Gormsen Møbelsnedkeri. 

We’ve worked in close collaboration with Mia Christiansen and Stefanie Ezra Petersen, both prior at Restaurant Barr in Copenhagen, to outfit the restaurants unique space. The project includes our new chairs; MG105 Dining chair, MG106 Dining chair with Arms, and MG107 Lounge chair designed by Space Copenhagen, paired with our various side and dining tables including a round version of the MG210 Dining table, designed by Norm Architects.

Malte Gormsen also designed and made the waiter stations, reception counters, serving trays, shelving systems, and café tables for both Restaurant Bavn and Brasserie Bavn.
