Design talk: Space Copenhagen – The MG105-107 Chair

Join the conversation with Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou from Space Copenhagen, along with master craftsman Malte Gormsen. Space Copenhagen, the designers of the new MG105-107 Chair, will discuss how they have integrated slow aesthetics that emphasize quality and longevity as the foundation of the chair’s design, complemented by Malte’s mastery of craftsmanship. The event also delves into the long-term collaboration between Malte Gormsen and Space Copenhagen.

“The simple idea of the new MG105-107 Chair for Malte Gormsen, – is to pair and celebrate the beauty of craft and organic materiality with high comfort for modern living. The combination of the soft, yet straight forward wooden structure and the light transparent woven paper cord for seat and back, are the core elements of the design – together they secure and balance both an effortless and strong character of the collection. For extra comfort, soft cushions in both linen and leather for both seat and back is offered for all the pieces.”
