MG406 STOOL / SIDE TABLE
The MG406 is designed by Norm Architects, whose work takes the human being as its starting point, balancing simple lines with tactile, natural materials and calming light – Soft Minimalism.
The design language is simple: a tapered foot that gives the piece its stability, and a round top that lends it a sense of calm and balance. In oak, the MG406 is made at our workshop in Herlev, where the form retains the same calm and balance as the stone version, but with the warmth and character of wood.
The MG406 is also available in stone: [LINK].
The MG406 is part of the Malte Gormsen Kollektion.
To us, surface treatment isn’t simply surface treatment but a time-intensive science in itself. The surfaces on our furniture are treated up to seven times.
The MG406 Stool and side table is made to order. It can be further customised to meet your specific needs.

DESIGNER
NORM ARCHITECTS
Much like human well-being, the essence of Norm Architects’ work is found in balance between richness and restraint, between order and complexity. Each project – whether architecture, interiors, design, or creative direction – is imbued with the same intrinsic quality: a simplicity that carries bigger ideas. Guided by the body and mind rather than by trends or technology, their projects explore ideas that not only look good but that also feel good.
Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark, Norm respect their context and build on the traditions of Scandinavian design and have helped to promote this approach worldwide in the last decade; An approach of timeless aesthetics, natural materials and upholding of Modernist principles concerning restraint and refinement that together helps to heighten the human senses and well-being.
