MG406 Tall
MG406 is designed by Norm Architects, whose work is rooted in the human perspective, balancing simple lines with tactile, natural materials – Soft Minimalism.
This taller version of MG406 is drawn with the same design language as the original stool: a conical base that gives the piece stability, and a round top that gives it calm and balance. The added height makes it equally suited as a sculpural bar stool, or as a tall side table next to an armchair or sofa.
The MG406 Tall is crafted at our workshop in Herlev, where the form retains the same calm and balance as the lower version, with the warmth and character of wood. MG406 is also available in a lower version as a stool/side table and as a side table in stone.
To us, surface treatment isn’t simply surface treatment but a time-intensive science in itself. The surfaces on our furniture are treated up to seven times.
The MG406 Bar stool and side table is made to order. It can be further customised to meet your specific needs.

DESIGNER
NORM ARCHITECTS
Much like human well-being, the essence of Norm Architects’ work is found in balance between richness and restraint, between order and complexity. Each project – whether architecture, interiors, design, or creative direction – is imbued with the same intrinsic quality: a simplicity that carries bigger ideas. Guided by the body and mind rather than by trends or technology, their projects explore ideas that not only look good but that also feel good.
Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark, Norm respect their context and build on the traditions of Scandinavian design and have helped to promote this approach worldwide in the last decade; An approach of timeless aesthetics, natural materials and upholding of Modernist principles concerning restraint and refinement that together helps to heighten the human senses and well-being.
